Reggie Bush Prop Odds

Super Bowl MVP, total receptions, total rushing yards, over/under on touchdowns and receiving yards, as well as whether or not he’ll score the first touchdown in the game are just some of the prop odds that bettors can wager on for Bush.
In 2009, Bush racked up 390 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 70 carries. He also finished with 47 receptions for 335 yards and three touchdowns, while compiling a 7.1 yard-per-catch average.
Bush has made a splash thus far in the postseason, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on just five carries in the Divisional Round against the Cardinals, as well as catching four passes for 24 yards in that same game. Against the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game, Bush only gained eight yards on seven carries, but did catch two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in the passing game.
Bush averaged 27.5 rushing yards per game this season, which is roughly where oddsmakers have made his over/under total for rushing yards in Super Bowl XLIV (28.5). The over/under for his longest rush from scrimmage has been set at 8.5, which might offer some value. He gained over 8.5 rushing yards from scrimmage in all but two of the games he played in this season. Thus, a bet on the “over” offers a ton of value.
Given his speed and playmaking ability, Bush could easily hit several “overs” come Super Bowl Sunday, although it’s worth noting that his speed might be neutralized if the weather is bad come Sunday. Miami has seen a fair amount of rain this week.
